Hmm, I'd better send mine right in, I didn't know I had a fire in my pocket, I just thought I was happy to see you, LOLZ

    'Dear costumer,...'
'as a precushion we are issuing an urgent safety recall' [in case you need a pillow?]
'This is a matter of the uppermost emergency' [and the utmost urgency]
'our factory in Molton Keynes' [Kaitain, please take note, you have been spelling it wrong]
'PIN number is for verification purposes only' [oh, of course]
'destroyed immediately upon a rival' [I love that one]
    Kaitain and booman like this.

Hey this happened to me! Right after I received my last bill. Lucky for me I had it out and was cleaning it with lighter fluid. When it suddenly caught fire!

A less unfortunate side effect was that my last bill was also consumed in the tragedy.

Having had to live thought one such a meltdown, I have sworn never to clean another card,

To insure my resolve, to never have another card.

But I do see the advantage of having a self burning card. The savings on lighter fluid alone justifies having one.

    A side note:

What would happen if you used a flaming credit card to buy a flaming Galaxy to call a "Hot line"

    for pornsters?

    "like smoke beyond all repair.?

Thats awesome! I thought Telemarketing scams were tedious... these guys went the extra step and mailed it out!
It probably worked too... some people are afraid of everything they don't understand.

Wells Fargo, a "shining city on the hill." Of pure crime. Oh, you mean crimes against the nearly defenseless? Defenseless? You mean that bug in the street? Oops, I meant ordinary person.

"Beware! it's every man for himself now."
    The Dalai Lama

I believe he's telling us that our institutions, commercial, industrial, religious and legal no longer serve the good of the people.

Just as we begin to enter the time of great and unpredictable changes out infrastructure is shot, our politicians almost completely self-serving. self avowed Christians vote for evil without even blushing.

If we don't claim the Good as our own and stand ready to defend what is right...Who will?

I agree with the Dalai Lama. Holding on to the good is difficult, at least for me. I'm overwhelmed with tsunamis of the bad. My bad? Probably.

    Dear Barclays,

Thank you for your letter. Despite not being a Barclays customer, I immediately mailed off all my debit cards and PINs, just in case. After all, since MK is now Molten, the weather here must be above the auto-ignition temperature of debit cards, and safety matters. Certainly it was a few weeks ago, but I'd have thought the rain would've at least helped it crust over by now. I trust you will liaise with my bank, who carelessly neglected to inform me that my cards were flammable?

    Sincerely,
    Kaitain of Molten Keynes
ps. I didn't know there was a debit card factory here
pps. Why is my bank account now empty?
