    I couldn't resist!
My work required this human firewall training in order to keep users aware of exploits that increase malicous software-n-stuff.

This is one of the visuals used in the training....

At first glance I they are trying to teach us (top left clockwise order):
    • Beware of Greek helmets
    • Watch out for roaches
    • Keep an eye on open laptops
    • Watch for pills and needles
    • Don't watch pirate movies
    • Bad things happen at 6:15
    • Never rotate your mouse 30 degrees
    • Don't use paper in envelopes
    • Never feed your disks to worms
    • Blank tablets are bad?
    • Cracked shields are bad
    • Don't stack your stereo equipment because they get hot
    • Never break your credit card
    • Mobile phones with white screens are bad
And they all rotate around the earth....

Yeah it was silly, but honestly people really don't think about these things.
They used the old "flash drive on the floor" example... people should know by now not to just plug in any rogue flash drive. They are so cheap these days, just buy one.

Oh and on the quiz I actually missed one. It was asking which could contain malicious data?
    1. Flash Drive
    2. Charging Cable
    3. Both
I was like, no charging cable could contain malicious data unless someone hacked a cable onto a tiny flash drive, ya know, like the ones for wireless mice and keyboards that are less than a centimeter long. But the question didn't say anything about that. I assumed it was just a cable. Apparently hackers have actually done that... used a dongle to install malicious code.

Who woulda thunk a charging cable could be a plague carrier? Not me, tbh.

Me either, then again, I have plenty of extra chargers, I would never just pick one up off the floor and use it. Specially in Windows.
Now at work, that is a different scenario, because I'm IT. If someone leaves gear behind I usually put it in stock for someone else to use. hmmm, now I have to check every cable for suspicious malware... ugh

When I was little of course I aspired to both of these careers. But it's uncomfortable riding horses and a fireman's job is freakin' dangerous. I think I wanted to be a lazy person. Oops, may have done that far too well.

But a horse can lead you to water, then by God he can make you drink!
    (I heard that some where.)

Funny that they use a Trojan helmet to represent a Trojan horse instead of, well, a Trojan horse! :rolling:

Troy, Trojans. Do they really go together? I so wish I went to USC. Not. Then I could cheer on the trojans. They were on the pavement all over my HS parking lot. Gack.
