De Blob in Proton

De Blob is the original city slime vandalising mouse only action jump trick game! And Completely free!

I haven't tested this game in Linux since 2017 and it still plays GREAT!

Runs in proton just fine with a few hacks!

• Run the game once and it will crash, but it populates all the Windows folders and game folders
• Navigate to the Menus folder:
  Home/Games/Heroic/prefixes/De Blob/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/De Blob/Blob EN/Assets/Menus
• Make a copy of CreditsMenu_EN.orverlay
• Rename the original as a backup
• Create a new 00_CreditsMenu_EN.overlay
• Copy all of the code from the original EN.overlay and paste it in the new EN.overlay
• Save
• Back to Heroic Launcher
• Go to the Advanced Settings for De Blob
• Add this argument: EN

Launch and play!

Yeah it goes way back! The original version was always free and in French. But so fun with my kids! My daughters were playing it at 2yrs and 4yrs. All you need is a mouse and it's great for learning colors!
