    GOG Implementing DRM?

If people get a malware for downloading malware files elsewhere I say let them burn. These people are likely pirates, so why protect them and make it harder for their legal customers?

    Libre vs MS Office

One is FOSS, the other is not, so the choice is simple for me. I've used Open Office since around 2006, before that I used MS Office, and I never found that either Open Office or Libre Office has lacking features. I've written papers in uni in Libre Office and Open Office, as well as...

Discussion of systemd adoption by Debian, openrc, sysvinit

I love OpenRC, it's more verbose, and from personal experience with it and Systemd I think that it's more stable. However, I don't really have anything against Systemd, I just prefer OpenRC.

    Where is everybody?

Cool. I want to do case mods, but I don't have a lot of time or money atm. Because I work a lot, when I get home I usually don't hang out on forums so much.

    Where is everybody?

I work at a computer store with a workshop. We had a custom computer out for show, and Oculus Rift dev kit 2 with Outlast. There is actually two computers in that table. The one on the left has 3x980 cards clocked from 1200ish mhz clock speed to over 1500 mhz. Don't remember if it had 12...

What is the Linux Community About?

The bad attitude in the Linux community isn't very widespread, it's just that the bad turds are most often heard. There are plenty of Linux communities that are very friendly. Personally I have very good experience with the OpenSUSE and Manjaro communities, and I'm sure that other people here...

    Distros you wish to try

Since 2006 I've tried so many kinds of Linux distros that I've tried almost every kind of package manager & distro specific settings management that is out there. My distro hopping days are over. So unless I find some really interesting new distro I will stick to Manjaro, Arch, Funtoo & Gentoo.
