GOG is really behind Linux games

Good point! I totally forgot about the installers. I have yet to install a GOG Linux game because I do so many PlayOnLinux tests. So they have to make their own Linux Installer for all Linux games. Even the UDK or Unity games?

GOG is really behind Linux games

Yeah, it sounds like they only have a small staff working on Linux and (as usual) its not high priority. How hard can it be to make an already-Linux-ready-product available? As noted in my last post...

Use JPGs instead of PNGs in guides

Strange, Joomla has had that feature for years. AOA forums had it on the frontpage and all the article. It would only load the images that appear in the screen. Nice feature. Oh well

    GOG Implementing DRM?

Totally agree! I have a feeling its not GOG's intention to protect pirates, but that is a result of their decision. I hope they will protect DRM Free instead, because this is their niche!

Use JPGs instead of PNGs in guides

Yes, thanks Allen! My internet is the lowest tier from Cox Cable. its pretty good for movies, games and music, but I have noticed that upload speeds aren't so great. I really wish there was a setting for images on our forum. Something that won't load every image on the page all at once.

    Starcraft II Guide

Ok, thats what I meant... I'm so used to writing "proprietary" i forget that Intels are open source. Wow, I didn't realize Starcraft II was from 2010, I though it was much older than that. when was Warcraft III was released in 2002, so I thought Starcraft II was only a few years...

    Starcraft II Guide

yeah, I have an Acer C7 Chromebook with Intel HD 2000 video chip and it has a hard time playing games. But Starcraft II is a fairly old game and shouldn't have high demands for graphic chips. Have you tried the Intel Graphics Installer? Or at least Try Ubuntu because it should install the...

Age of Empires 2 HD Guide

that is pretty strange. I always set the virtual desktop to 1024x768 anyways, but I know the default is 800x600 so this may be a problem if you don't specify the virtual desktop resolution

Thank you for being so detailed in your post! Do you know if you have the 32-bit libraries installed in Mint? You only need to install these if you have the 64-bit version of Mint 17. Use Software Manager or Synaptics Package Installer and search for: ia-32libs multi-arch You should be able...

Use JPGs instead of PNGs in guides

I'm going to keep using PNG for the small screenshots. Its just quicker and my system is already in place. I just converted my screenshots from 3MB PNG to 200KB JPG This makes a huge difference in size and the image is still pretty high quality. I'll do this from now on. I prefer PNG because...

Use JPGs instead of PNGs in guides

I don't need to open it in Gimp at first. I take all of the screenshots in order while installing. Then Later I open them all in GIMP and crop. I've gotten my guides down to a step-by-step method that makes it pretty quick. I don't mind using scrot, but I need it to save the screenshots in a...

Daerandin - Did I get the categories right? Tactical and Role Playing Games? Or is it more Strategy? I see you have removed your Wine themes, now its looking more generic  Does the In-Game Overlay work in Wine 1.7.33? I noticed you didn't include steps to disable it. Nice touch with...
