You shouldn't have to wait an hour. For me it was 15 minutes or so... and that is with a slower internet connection. Kill it and then in PlayOnLinux, select Neverwinter and click Debug instead of Start. Go through logging in and everything, then when it sits at the "Cryptic" loading screen...
