    Neverwinter Free MMO Guide

You tried the "fglrx" drivers correct? Don't use the "fglrx updates" driver. The "xserver" drivers are open-source and don't normally have performance of AMD's fglrx. But, sadly, I have read many reports of bugs and bad performance from AMD's drivers as well. Really sucks because how are...

How unfair. Kickstarter won't let this guy build a Death Star

They would have to recycle it for fuel :D

Steam update breaks wine compatability for all games again!

Not cool... do you think there was an update on your distro that may have messed with Wine, PlayOnLinux or python? Show us that debug ;)

    Blockstorm

No surprise that everyone else is trying to "milk" the Minecraft genre. Blockstorm is a voxel based world where every thing is destructible an buildable. Design your own character and then design your own maps. Basically Counter-Strike in a block world: Blockstorm

Steam update breaks wine compatability for all games again!

Hmm, very strange indeed. Check your debug and see if there is anything "notable" that may give a clue why it won't launch any games. What version of Wine are you using?

Dawn of War 1 + Expansions Guide

Wow, pretty strange, but getting gamespy and Games for Windows Live out of the picture is totally worth it! I wonder if there is a list somewhere that shows all the games patching out those DRMs?

    Tomb Raider 2013 Guide

    GOG-Baldurs Gate-EasyTutu

Don't forget, if you want to install any dotnet libraries, use Wine 1.5.18 to avoid crashing. Then switch back to the newer Wine versions to launch your game.

Baulders Gate right? What is EasyTutu? Can you run any other games in Linux? What Distro are you using? 64-bit?

    origin game loader

Messing with Origin my be a waste of time. Steam works a lot better. If you purchased your game from Humble Bundle, there might be a Steam key as well. The best I got is using PlayOnLinux and Wine 1.2.28-Origin This patched version of Wine will allow you to install and update origin. But may...

Steam update breaks wine compatability for all games again!

Tried Steam and Tomb Raider this morning. There was a tiny update, but the game ran fine. I will try again tonight or tomorrow to make sure.

    GOG Linux Client

I have no problem with Wine wrappers and GOG games. Every game I have tested from GOG in Wine has worked pretty well. Some mouse problems here and there, but otherwise flawless. Wine is great at handling most DirectX 8 & 9 games. Its those stinking DirectX 10 games that cause problems.

    GOG Linux Client

Oh, I didn't know about the press release about their name. GOG is fine with me. Maybe I should purchase The Witcher 3 just to support DRM free games. Maybe other publishers will take notice that DRM free has many benefits. I'm waiting for Linux releases as well. I almost thought about...

    GOG Linux Client

GOG Rocks! I hope they make a "sister" site for new games GNG.com (Good New Games) I probably won't use the client either, unless there is a lot of demand for it. I totally understand what they are doing... social engineering with games. Steam already has the most success and a great...

    GOG Linux Client

The client is called Galaxy and it is planned to be optional and online/offline use. http://www.gog.com/news/cd_projekt_red_gogcom_summer_conference I'm not surprised. Everyone else is doing it, now lets have another client for PC gaming. Its as if the PC world is trying to mimic Tables &...

    origin game loader

Welcome to the forums! I have been able to sucessfully install and run Origins, but could not download an entire game and run it. I tried it with Battlefield 3 a long time ago and recently with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I got Kingdoms to download and install, but it would never run...

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Guide

Yeah, 99% may be a bit off, but most games are only 32-bit. I'm no expert or programmer, but I have absorbed a lot about making games run and why they won't run. One key to remember is after you install the game and PlayOnLinux makes a shortcut, you can look for a 32-bit.exe and a 64-bit.exe...
