I've heard that Mint 19 may have some issues. This could be a newer version of Alsa or Pulseaudio I'm not sure how to roll it back to an earlier version. I'm sticking with Mint 18.3 for now, because every new version seems to have some issues.

Got it to work! I left it set to Windows XP and installed the following Packages: d3dcompiler_43 d3dx10 d3dx11 Then it ran perfectly

No problem. Please let me know if other games work as well. I'm sure it will be hit & miss since many newer games no longer support Windows XP I got the same error. In fact Direct X tries to install, so there is a chance you could set the virtual drive to Windows 7, but Big Fish Games client...
