Yes
Strange, I use it for almost every game I test in PlayOnLinux.
If you don't use it, I recommend lowering your Desktop resolution and then matching the game resolution to it.
You still might want to use the checkbox "Capture mouse in fullscreen windows"
I saw this on reddit/linux
Serious vulnerability
I checked my Church's webserver and its already patched up. This is through Hostgator. My work uses GoDaddy and the patch is in the works.
I installed hexchat in ChrUbuntu and same problem. My boss probably hasport 6667 blocked for security. so guess I won't be chatting from home.
This is another reason why a shoutbox would be helpful.
Not to mention encourage gamers to sign up because only members can chat on the shoutbox
I'm trying Xchat on my ChrUbuntu chromebook, but it won't find the server.
It won't let me use /join
but instead recommends /server
I have tried typing gamersonlinux and #gamersonlinux but still can't find it.
Nice, I'll check out those features as well.
I'm using multiple desktops, but would love to hear a sound like Google chat does.
Otherwise I'm Ctrl+Alt+arrow-keys all the time checking to see if someone responded.
So much pressure! :D
I saw the icon, but didn't notice it at first. I'll try to...
Yup, you convinced me to check it out, but haven't convinced me to commit to the cause ;)
I noticed there wasn't any kind of notification that someone replied. How do you chat and work in another window/desktop at the same time?
Dang, of course, some update probably broke it.
Can you post the debug from PlayOnLinux?
Also, were you able to play it previously?
What distro are you using? 64-bit or 32-bit?
Might as well list your video card specs too
Very good points! I almost wish there was a remote client built-in as well.
Is there a way to save the chat if I helped someone (or was helped) and it was a significant victory?
Oh, so you are asking which system would be "more preferred" when it comes to guides?
I would say PlayOnLinux of course... because its cheaper than Crossover and easier than Wine.
Not to mention we have over 100 guides with PlayOnLinux already.
Its your call of course, but the more PlayOnLinux...
Yeah, I see that as important, but I will probably ask them to post in the forum. That way people can read our solutions for years to come...
I really like the longevity of forums. chat rooms are more for quick meaningless... well... chatting.
Ah updated your drivers...
I don't normally update my Nvidia drivers because I stick with the stable from Mint.
So I wonder if its broken for me?
I think I'm using 331...
I can't keep up with all the distro's
I figured since I do a lot of game guides and want to be standard with most new linux users, I'll use Mint.
I don't love Mint but don't hate it either.
Does what I need it to do. I'm also not so much a Linux enthusiast than a gaming enthusiast. So I don't...
You can also just delete the vdf script and it won't try to install.
I didn't know you could disable the Steam Overlay from the games properties.
Nice tips!
Its amazing what a driver can break and fix. totally out of our control of course, but it doesn't hurt to install the most recent versions.
Since I'm in Mint, I will keep the stable driver provided by Mint. Thats all
