Wow 1.3 huh?
That is an old Wine version. Its surprising what Wine works for which game.
I just tested TimeShift over the weekend and it crashed no matter what Wine version I had selected and what libraries I installed.
I looked back at the WineHQ's posts and someone posted "silver" with Wine...
Cool, I have done that too.
Copy everything off the CD and then install from a folder.
I normally do that with Multiple-CD games so I don't have to keep swapping CD's during the installation.
Unfortunately Star Wars Episode 1 Racer looks to be another "crysis game" that just won't run.
Too many graphical glitches and requires a No CD crack.
I would test it in different versions of wine first and then give up for now.

But its a valid question.
I have noticed on my windows computers that when log into a new computer, Steam asks me to authenticate that computer and add it to a trusted list of computers.
It never does this in...
I moved your post here in the PlayOnLinux thread.
Sadly most Steam games still do not play in Linux environment.
So Yes, you would have to install Steam for every game in a new virtual drive.
The reason is because Each game has dependencies like Windows DLL's (libraries) and OS settings.
