Back then didn't you have to download some binaries? Even when Doom 3 was compatible with Linux, you have to download binaries, extract, then copy pak files to run it. But you are right, its probably just as easy to run it through PlayOnLinux.

Ditto for me... The only way I play MMO's is by myself. I rarely group up with people unless I need help with a very difficult Boss. Otherwise, I might help some other newbee's and play cooperative with my kids. I never give money to the free-to-play games and don't really join up with Guilds...

Valve has finally got Left4Dead 2 converted for Linux. I have it downloaded for windows, but don't know if I have to download it again or not. Left4Dead 2 Linux I have played the original Left4Dead and loved it! Great team efforts with A.I. or real players.
