Thanks! I can't believe there wasn't a guide for this years ago... I never updated my Nvidia drivers because it usually meant killing X server, using the shell and breaking something. Now its super easy.

I haven't tried it before, but Linux can definitely see your Windows NTFS partitions. Which Windows are you using? In theory, you can create a /home/username/.PlayOnLinux/ directory in your Windows partition and then link to it. So every virtual drive will be installed in the Windows...

Did you ad/remove any mods recently? I noticed that when I remove a mod, I get a warning that there will be missing content. Maybe the save game is corrupted. This happens in Windows as well. I actually backup my saves to my Google Drive, just to be safe. 100+ hours in a game isn't worth loosing.
