Discussion of systemd adoption by Debian, openrc, sysvinit

Do you think there is a chance these paid programmers/developers are just obeying their management? Specially with risk of loosing their jobs? We all know CEO's can make bad decisions and us peons have to just do as we are told or leave and risk being unemployed. Honestly I never thought about...

    Arcanum Guide

Imagine a place of wonder, where magick and technology hold equal sway, and an adventurer might just as easily wield a flintlock pistol as a flaming sword. A place where great industrial cities house castle keeps and factories, home to Dwarves, Humans, Orcs and Elves alike. A place of ancient...

I'm the same way... Some bugs are very minor and tolerable. If the game plays nicely without crashing and I'm having fun... I'm ok with a few bugs.

    Trying to install Magicka 1

oh, I'm not sure why you are using .iso files? I play through Steam and it runs just fine. In fact i'm playing through the campaign with my daughters in Windows ( my mistake, too lazy to install in PlayOnLinux), so I need to test it again in PLayONLinux.

Actually, most USB drives are just a plain SATA hard drive in a fancy case. I would take the SATA drive out of the case and plug it directly into the motherboard. Speeds are pretty high unless you are using USB 3.0, but I think SATA 3 is even faster than USB 3.0

Aquaria - Nice game - Looking forward to install on my new compu

This is why there is a great benefit to offline and singleplayer modes. Like Team Fortress 2... initially you could only play online and against people. I basically stopped playing it because the game was so hard... some people just have nothing better to do than play games. I'll never be as...

That is very strange. So the grass is gone completely? At least the game works for you and still looks good.

Aquaria - Nice game - Looking forward to install on my new compu

Kinda sad too because now nobody can play City of Steam... even offline. I wonder if they could release the game as a singleplayer or multi-player LAN game? Where I can host it myself like Torchlight II and let my friends join... So many MMORPG's that were cancelled and never play again. What...

Very good points Daerandin. I complete agree with the use of free software. I love the fact that Linux is free and we get to use it for any purpose. I feel lucky and blessed because I don't have to add an extra $100.00 to build a computer and have an operating system. This is the way it...

What video card is that? Looks tiny... Nice choice of motherboard and AMD CPU. I love AMD, mostly because bargain-for-the-buck. I just get a better processor for much less money. What Memory did you get?
