    I keep failing... I've tried to install manually from disk, But it says it's finished and closes the install without looking for a second disk. When I try from my ripped game folder it simply crashes. I'm going to try and re-rip in case I missed something, been a while since I ripped the files.

    I'm as bewildered as you are Boo...can you get in touch with someone at WINE and find out what their thinking is on this, they must have some kind of reason for this seemingly arbitrary behavior?

    Debian is still a wash...I can get past the 32 bit libarays thing, but pol goes to pieces when you try to install a game, none of the pol scrips are seen as good and ...well it's a multi-layered mess. we will be with mint Ubuntu for a while yet...sigh...

    If I can get Mint Debain to work this will help you quite a bit as Debain doesn't EVER require a reinstall to update. I know wine is still messed up for you to work with, but this will give us an OS that will be far more stable to work from...this is why I see Debain as being so important to our...
