I really need to update to 64-bit as well.
The only reason I'm in Mint 16 32-bit is because originally I installed 64-bit and the games were having major issues.
Turns out it was the Steam Overlay not Mint, but I had already downgraded to 32-bit.
Maybe when Mint 17 arrives, I'll go ahead and try...

No way! Bad news for 32-bit users.... Really bad. This means they will have to literally purchase a new operating system.
I have a mix of Windows OS's from Vista to Win8 and 32-bit/64-bit
I would have to have to purchase Windows again just to run a game.
