    Darksiders I & II on GOG.com

Yep, I recognized the screenshot from my guide. The wikipedia page for Darksiders claim there is a Linux version, but it is not on Steam or GOG. But if GOG start distributing the Linux version then I'll definitely get it. Some googling brings me to several websites that claim Darksiders 2 have...

    Darksiders I & II on GOG.com

If they add the Linux versions, then I'll be getting both games from GOG, but I'm not buying until I see Linux versions. Darksiders 1 have a Linux version already if I'm not mistaken, but Darksiders 2 is yet to get a Linux version.

    PlayOnLinux 4.2.7 bugs

If anyone is thinking about updating to PlayOnLinux version 4.2.7, so keep in mind that it is suffering from a few bugs. The create shortcut feature will appear empty after creating one shortcut. To create another from the same virtual drive you need to start the shortcut create feature again...

    Minecraft

If you explain what you are attempting to do, what is happening, where you got this output and what you expect to happen, then it might be possible to help. As it is now, it really is impossible for me to know what this is about unless I were to read your mind, an ability I have yet to develop.

    Nordic returns to GOG

Jowood didn't make games, they were a publisher. They published both the Gothic series and Spellforce series, which are excellent games. However, they also ruined the Gothic series by getting a completely unknown developer to make an expansion for Gothic 3 which was beyond horrible. I sometimes...

    New laptop

I was a little tired yesterday when I was tweaking the .conkyrc, so line 62 have two identical listings of the network interface. Just delete one. You can also get a semi-transparent background for this conky, which would probably look better if you are using a background image that might make...

    New laptop

I've always had a lot of respect for Asus, they make quality products. I attached my .conkyrc as a text document here. I originally grabbed this from the Arch forums and modified it slightly to work better with Xfce.

    New laptop

What I mean by easy to open is that there is a panel underneath that can be easily removed. It gives access to change hard drives and RAM. I think most newer gaming laptops are built with an easily removed panel underneath. You don't have access to everything from that panel. If you want to do...

    New laptop

Haha, yeah. I suppose that is inevitable. As for the space, this thing can be easily opened so I can do that later and take a pic inside so you can see how things fit inside.

    New laptop

I had two hard drives in the last one too. Laptop hard drives are much thinner than hard drives in desktops. There are two fans, same as the previous model I had. But the cooling system on these Asus laptops is very efficient. I just tested The Witcher 2 with all graphical settings on the...

    New laptop

Today I picked up my new laptop. I spent quite a few hours today installing Arch Linux and getting most of the important packages installed. This weekend I intend to set things up more or less exactly how I like it, and start testing games. The laptop is a ASUS G751YJ, the specs are quite nice...

    Talisman: Digital Edition Guide

I'm not seeing anything helpful in the debug output, so unfortunately I can't think of anything helpful at the moment. Just to clarify, this debug output you have here is from when you try to run the game and get the black window? It could be that you are missing some 32 bit libraries, so I...

CDPR is asking users to ask their questions regarding TW3 release

They made some DLC for Witcher 2 as well, but it was all completely free. As for the planned expansions, they were not going to be free from what I remember reading. Unlike modern DLC, those expansions will feature a lot of new content, like Aryvandaar said, just as good old expansion packs used...

    Talisman: Digital Edition Guide

As booman say, you get all the debug output when you run the game by clicking on Debug on the tab on the side instead of the normal Run button. An extra window will open, you can try running the game and exit it when it fails to run. Then copy everything from the additional debug window and...

    Alien vs. Predator (2010) Guide

It is made with something called Asura engine. I can do guides for both the earlier AvP games if I get them running well.

    Alien vs. Predator (2010) Guide

Actually, AvP2 is not available on GOG or Steam. The older AvP available on GOG (and Steam as well) was the first AvP, initially released in 1999. AvP2 was released in 2001 and had an expansion in 2002. In my opinion, AvP2 is by far the best game among these.

    Alien vs. Predator (2010) Guide

I replayed this game all the way through after doing this guide, and I have to admit that it is a bit of a let down, primarily since it is so short. The level design is overly simple, and all levels are rather small and uninteresting. I got an urge to dig out my old discs for AvP2, which was an...

    Alien vs. Predator (2010) Guide

What has always made AvP games interesting is that you get to play as both the Aliens and Predators. This game, like previous AvP games, feature three single player campaigns. One for each of the three warring species. The guide will explain how to setup Steam in PlayOnLinux so that you can...
