I have always loved this one, and the whole record.
This version is not the original, but it's interesting, clearly it is Pat playing, but it is an acoustic version. There doesn't seem to be a YouTube vid of the original, but I've got it here in the house ;)
Here's an interesting forum for Pat:
I had never heard Pat Metheny interviewed, and was impressed with his 'down-to-earthness'. Extremely unassuming, for one of the world's top players, and altogether friendly. I think Rick scores BIG points with this extended interview and I hope it lays the groundwork for more long interviews...
Charlie Watts, dead at 80, another legend.
RIP Charlie, you will be missed...

Steve Jordan tagged as his replacement, at least temporarily for their upcoming tour...
I am actually shocked to hear that you've never listened to this masterpiece before, George :)
Now that you have, it will now attach itself to your soul.
Haha, I must have seen this movie 100 times or more.
It came out the year I started college, and I must have spent most every Saturday night watching it at midnight at the Waverly Theater, which became its home. I have taken more girls to that theater than I can count ;)
Not your fault, it's my own personal hangup, I guess.
I just somehow feel like a songwriter who takes a unique title like that and writes a new song should be aware of the fact that one of the great songwriters of a generation used it already.
And stay away from it. If for nothing else out of...
I expected to hear one of my very favorite Warren Zevon songs and was disappointed.
How could someone write another song with that title? It somehow rubs me the wrong way.
To help me feel better, here is the one and only 'Reconsider Me'. Warren was a mad genius, badly missed...
Somehow Jeff always seems to have the greatest rhythm sections. Check out the drummer and the bass player on 'Hammerhead'. It doesn't get better than this.
...and Buddy Guy, Ronnie Wood and Jonny Lang aren't a bad follow-up act, either
Joe Pass and Oscar Peterson were bandmates for a very long time. That must have been impressive. I've never seen either one live, but have listened to countless recordings. It is a shame I wasn't clued in years ago when I had the opportunities to actually see them.
