Oddly enough, I've been having some nightmares from my Army days recently. About 2 weeks of them, actually. Rather disquieting, and I'm starting to get a bit cranky from lack of sleep.

We are going to be 'bitterly cold' this coming week. Apparently, slightly below freezing is now 'bitterly cold' in a part of the country which routinely experiences AT LEAST one day a year of sub-zero weather, and upwards of a month below freezing. :eek: ???confused???

Sometimes (and I'm speaking from personal experience here), we become so used to a certain way of thinking that as things change, we fail to follow the changes through to their logical conclusions. This is particularly true when we succumb to the 'well everyone else is doing it' school of thought.
