    Actually it's a Wine thing. Wine before 1.5 simply doesn't know my crd exits. It will use most of my cards capabilities in some games, in others It forces the lowest settings, sometimes I can successfully over ride them and some times doing so is a mess, slow downs, flickering and the like.     I tried both Mint update and my favorite update method: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nvidia-current nvidia-settings nvidia-settings Both gave me 313.09 So...not quite yet... will be checking regular like...":O}

    PlayOnLinux I've downloaded it and will install once I post this announcement.":O} I've been running it a while now, tested it in a few of my games...all is well with 4.1.9 No apparent backward compatibility problems.

    Not so! Phoronix Test Suite will bench most anything...Ok that's not actually known by me to be true... but try it, I 'm sure it will bench your gear.
