To each his own. Imho this guy never caught a glimpse of the "same boat." Sure, he's talented and has given us some excellent tunes, but put him in the same boat as The Crystals???

Iirc, David Letterman featured a song by her for many of his right around Christmas shows. She was perhaps most famous as a Phil Spector artist.

For some reason I'm not a Dead fan, much less a Dead Head. I recognize that they wrote and performed many good songs, so kudos to them.
