    LED lighting damages your eyes

I find LED light bulbs to be very good. My table lamp here is 2700 Kelvin (warm white), not blue at all that I'm aware of, and still going strong after 4.5 years. I don't use any dimable LED bulbs because they flash very rapidly, but not sure if that is bad for you or not.

Asus X570 chipset fully supporting Gen 3 Ryzen

I think AMD could have been far more competitive with Intel in the PC realm, if it had chosen to. But, I can imagine they have been doing a lot of good business producing chips for the Xbox and Playstation. Highly likely that they conspire in secret and agree not to screw each other too hard.

    Something To Think About

If we were to give everyone a pay rise things might not turn out so well, the problem being that has an inflationary effect meaning it may be that no-one is any the better off, and some are actually worse off, e.g. pensioners who won't get a pay rise.

Playing Blu-Rays on yer computational device

Well playback is not easy under Linux. The problem is DRM and the absence of CODECs. It is possible to faff around and playback most movies, but it is illegal and not that simple. A standalone blu-ray player is probably best.

Playing Blu-Rays on yer computational device

Blu-ray players exist, they're much the same as DVD drives. If your box plays back HD video online just fine then it should playback Blu-ray just fine.

It's white out there in the woods...

The photo is this place: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vuosaari Changed quite a lot since I lived there. It used to be cheap, but now it's more a bit more upmarket plus they extended the metro there which makes it more desirable than it was. I rented a friend's apartment while they were away...

I have to spell my username differently when my usual one is already taken. I mostly use Twitch to see what games are popular, to watch an expert so I can learn something, or just watch someone who is entertaining. Don't bother live streaming all that much because no one watches me!

I know Oulu but never been that far up north. It's a long way from Helsinki. I've seen people heading up there putting the cars on the train because it just takes so long to drive up there, probably 2 or 3 days of driving. Spent a lot of time in Estonia as well. Estonian is the only other major...

It's white out there in the woods...

Don't see much snow here, but have spent a lot of time in Finland and there's more than enough for everyone there. The sea freezes over! You can drive a car across the sea to offshore islands. When it snows a lot the winter workers can be clearing the snow from the roofs of older buildings...
