    New to Linux

I would recommend ubuntu flat out. Get used to that the UI's are different and learn your way around through exploration. You might get curious of other UI's eventually.

Get ready to shit yourselves: The future of linux compatibility.

I only need to post a link. https://teksyndicate.com/videos/gta-v-linux-skylake-build-hardware-vm-passthrough As Wendell said Wine and Crossover are always going to be around, but this is definately where Linux will go in the next 2-5 years as this gets more stable / wide spread. It really is...

MMORPG's that run well on POL ?

WOW runs pretty great. F2P is pretty fun even if it is 20 levels. You can run around on the maps and the really high level monsters ignore you so while your friends are about to go in a raid on a map you can run in and scout it out XD Or you used to be able to. When they started that whole...

    Linux Mint at Work

Thats not possible to be put in a law. Unless you were usig VMWare or something, if you're using oracle virtualbox, there is nothing in the lisences that restrict that. Thats like getting a copywrite DMCA on youtube because you made a game dev mad and they said it was illegal because you ran...

Installing steam: Well this is wierd

I have recently gotten an Asus G50VT. Since this is not a main system for me I don't really care what I have installed so I backed up the few files I had and decided to install the Arch based distro of Netrunner, which happens to me one of my favorite distributions in the first place. Now...

Why We Want Native Ports Only (Gaming On Linux)

I think the polls are skewed and theres more than 1% of computer users out there using linux. Since a lot of users have to use windows I feel like because of that there are people who end up on both sides. Take that percentage away and it's probably more like 7 or 8%. That seems small but...

We've had fibre. In fact we have had fibre for years, and not residential. For whatever reason it's business grade circa 2005. It was put up by AT&T when a business was supposedly going to be built across the road from us. Never was and since the line was bought by comcast. It's the only...

I have installed adobe lightroom before and it worked perfectly. I prefer gimp as an over all editor but I use light room with gimp to make photo's or video thumbnails

    Fallout 3 Guide

Do also keep in mind most audio problems are at the fault of pulse. If you have gstreamer installed you can install some libs and use gstreamer only, with alsa of course, and ditch pulse completely. I did that in ubuntu 9 way back when and everything went great.

    Installing Curse Voice

XDDD not really. I learned VM's were easier for applications and wine should only be used for games, again. I had already known that I think I was just reminded of it XDD
