    League of Legends Help

Actually if you use PlayOnLinux and launch the game with Debug, it will open a nice output with all the errors. There should be a lot of "fixme" errors Crashing at login is very common with the current LoL patch. I was able to get past the login and the only problems I have is the Store...

    Steam Box Beta

We all expected this because your favorite Steam games are not on the list. This is why I am not using Linux Steam. This is only the beginning... but I think a lot of developers would be encouraged to make/port games to Linux if SteamBox has success. At the same time, people who only play on...

    Steam Box Beta

You are right! Why are they $650 on Amazon and $400 on Newegg? I really doubt that the SteamBox needs a $500 video card. I've never spend more than $150.00 on a video card and they have lasted for years.

    Steam Box Beta

Wow, nice teardown! How is it going to be competitive with consoles if the price is over $700? I love how half the computer is that massive video card? I love the box too! its a keeper and you can take your SteamBox with you in total safety. Nice job Valve!

    League of Legends Guide

Wow, yes! Thank you for posting some solutions. I don't know how you found them  Of course the question is... what do we do now? That is a lot of work-arounds and you have to apply them every time there is an update. I wonder why Wine can't handle mipmaps smaller than one block? Maybe...

It may run slow depending on your hardware. Dual boot might be better but it tricky with the partitioning

For anyone running Linux Mint 13 LTS

Of course Fedora is up to 20... I can't keep up. I've been using Fedora 18 on my server for months now I hope Ubuntu 14.04 will be the new stable release.

LightZone is a image batch processing program and its totally free Of course you have to learn it too. That is the reason why I havn't completely moved to GIMP yet because I have been using Photoshop for many years. If I want to edit a photo, it takes me twice as long in GIMP because I have to...

That is really odd So instead of Upgrading to Mint 16, you can install features of Mint 16 in Mint 13?

    I am deleting Winblows

I have read on WineHQ's that Photoshop runs in Wine. I have yet to test it myself. I did get Sketchup to run though. I don't know of any program that is similar to Lightroom, but I'm sure there is something out there. GIMP is pretty awesome and has a lot of raster image editing capabilities.

Finally we pulled you in! Now when you have serious issues you can call us and the internet. What it really comes down to is: What do you use your computer primarily for? If its an office computer where you require Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Quicken, AutoCAD, Adobe, etc... then Windows is...

Just bought my first Humble Bundle

Yeah, me too. I love the Origin bundle and some of the Steam bundles. I rarely get the indie bundles because a lot of the games are retro and platform genre's Not too interested in those.

    Ravensword (Openworld RPG)

I know. that is the one element that interested me. Large maps, decent graphics, and RPG elements that can run on lower spec systems. Beat that!
