Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

As I never qualified for the name of the song I think I can let it go safely. I'm in a very unaccepting music mood today.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

She gets half of the credit for writing the song. I like it but heard it too many times.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Me neither. It'd be great to not have to listen to it. We are a product of what was popular when we were teenagers. That was a loong time ago.

What an original sound! Must I add "not?"

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Sorry, but his choice of a stage name instantly qualified him for nothing in my estimation.

Of race and racism or why did they have to go and make me feel so all alone

Isn't it something that we tend to see the wealthy as very necessary for our survival? "Sir" William Gates, "Our Sainted Majesty" Donald Trump. They rig the game and the propaganda machine to work very well for their interests.

Which ever way the wind blows

A friend lived in Nome for two years. He was a member of the Army Reserve and they needed a helicopter mechanic there. He and his wife came back to California none the worse for wear.

It is SO VERY cool to be able to say that you have found the right place to live during your as some say, golden years. You are a fortunate man mi amigo.

Which ever way the wind blows

We humans are one piece of work. And we have the unmitigated crust to imagine ourselves as the pinnacle of creation. Insects, which are very important for birds to have to eat among more reasons are dying off at a spectacular rate. Those shields that used to divert the slipstream of a vehicle so...

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Here in prison paradise (more of us imprisoned than in any other country, in both sheer numbers and as a percentage of population) this song only gains in its truth. It says "Equal Justice Under Law" on the front of the Supreme Court building in Washington DC. What a bald faced lie!

Of race and racism or why did they have to go and make me feel so all alone

Divide and conquer is the operating rule of government by the rich, for the rich and of the rich. And they giggle at the suffering of poor people, poor people aren't "people" as they see it. We near a point of no return. If the powerless don't organize to become powerful soon I think it will...

Which ever way the wind blows

It sounds like you found the very best situation for your trailer and exactly the best place for you to live. I'm happy for you! Don't know how long this strangely cold winter will make the snow stay frozen around you. Yet you're coping with it very well, we doff our caps in salute. I thought...

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I quoted this song in the book I wrote about my visit to Viet-Nam. Going there was most definitely not the way to have fun.

Such a wonderful song, thanks for providing the "wayback" machine!

I barely remember this one. Thanks for opening up the dream contained within it for us!

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Oh how I wished to have a woman sing me that song when I was very young. So young that I had no concept of what a girl was--much less what a woman was!

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

My, the bridge goes on and on, but I still like it. My favorite song on this double LP is "For What it's Worth." "Mr Soul" is also great. It has the great ending. Not "For What it's Worth." My bad, sorry. What's not to like?

Oh my. I certainly remember this one, at least the "all the chapel bells were ringing " part.
