Hey Dem and Boo!
Yes it still works. In fact, you can also install Neverwinter in the same place and it runs fine as well. I will tell you one thing. Star Trek can have some popping sounds when you play because of pulseaudio but it is not so bad as to be unplayable. Have fun.
PS It runs without...
Wanted to let people know. I had a problem with my cursor in STO and SWTOR of being rendered as a solid color. After I installed the ia32-libs, the problem was corrected.
So I changed to wine 1.7.19. Map points of interest still freeze when I hover over them. I am downloading those 32bit libs now. See what kind of effect that has. There are sound issues as well. Sometimes I start the game and the sound is constant static sound. Sometimes it's fine. If it is...

Video card is nvidia 9800 GT with 1GB of video ram.

Around 20GB unfortunately. I have got the game to download and hit Play but it just shows a splash screen and swtor.exe process running. I've let it set for a couple hours with no change.
Hey all. I fixed the issue. I didn't run nvidia-xconfig for my video card. It works now. However, it only is running in 1024x768. Do I need to set the resolution higher when I am creating the script in POL? Ty
Hello all. I have followed the Star Trek Online Guide and I has success all the way until it was time to hit Engage. When I do, it gives me a fatal error: Unable to create directx device. I installed the recommended video driver by Mint and I then tried the one it had by default. Same result. I...
