This person actually did not fix it, and is still experiencing the bug as well, as he has said in a more recent post today. He also forgot to add that he added msls31 to the libraries in wine config as well.

Alright, I jumped the gun, the game is still having the freezing problem. It was running well for a little while there too -_-.
