In light of my recent discovery that... well, nobody uses the UT99 server outside of tournaments, I thought it might be interesting to start up a different server during UT's down time. So the question being asked above is this: Who wants to see an official Minecraft server for GoL? Given that MC is one of the most popular games of ALL TIME to be cross-platform, it seemed like a fitting thing to do. Right now I'm leaning toward Feed the Beast Infinity Lite. It's a fairly large modpack (121 mods by default), but it's also relatively straightforward, only having one or two mods to choose from for any given thing (only two major tech mods, two major magic mods, etc.). Personally, it's the MC I play the most. Anyway, it's up to you (the community) to decide on this.
I marked "no" because I don't play Minecraft, but later realized I should have put "yes" because other people would probably love a dedicated server. Sorry bout that!
I probably should have clarified on "Latest Vanilla release." There really should be two options, because we could either do pure vanilla (not even Sponge or Spigot; it plays almost like a massive, constant LAN party) or semi-vanilla (using plugins to add things like shops, warps, elevators, etc.).
