And so it is with a great many of the discoveries and inventions that we take for granted these days. That's what makes it so fun!
 
Daniel~, have you seen 'The Imitation Game'?

If not, you should watch it. It's about Alan Turing, who is one of the geniuses Harry Huskey worked with.

The sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy will will be out soon...So I should get it in around a year and a half from now...I hope I can wait....LOL
 
The Imitation Game is a good movie, about the tortured life of a true genius. Turing lived in an era when his sexual preference was not legal in Britain; he was granted a posthumous pardon for it only a few years ago, in 2013. His death by suicide in his early 40s was only after he accepted chemical castration for his sexuality.

His Royal pardon was long overdue, since he was the mind that built the machine that cracked the Enigma code of the Nazis, most likely saving many millions of lives in the U.K.
 
I know of that Movie! I know of that man and what he accomplished. I know of what was done to him. The movie is on my service.

I just haven't found the courage to watch him go to meet his fate at the hands of the great unwashed.

I despise injustice and have a very hard time getting over them when they have prevailed against the good.

I'll find a moment of courage..soon as I can,,,":O}
