The Apocalypse is here, play as War one of the Four Horsemen and slay both Angel and Demon on Earch during the last battle. Wield his awesome sword by linking combos and finsh them with Wrath abilities you will earn throughout the campaign. Now you can play Darksiders with all new high resolution textures, shaders and more.

    Conclusion:
One DXVK was setup, Darksiders launched immediately without any issues. I was able to make a few changes in the options and then start a new game. The new textures, shadows, processing effects and new settings look amazing! I was not able to test 4K resolutions, but it ran great on my GTX 1060 in 1920x1080

There were a few instances were the game crashed randomly or my character went through the ground and sank into oblivion, but I was able to play for an hour at a time without any problems.

booman, how do you get your gog files on Linux?
  3. booman
Hi Batmanm0ble, I think you will have to add the new server list in the configuration file before Steam allows you to download a game.

    Content Servers Unavailable Error

We have to make one change to steam that was broken in Wine due to a recent update
Otherwise we can't download Assassin's Creed III

    Navigate to your game's wineprefix:
    Full Path:
    Code:
    /home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/alienbreed3/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/config/
Open config.vdf with a text editor

    Copy this code below

    Code:
    Code:
    "CS" "valve511.steamcontent.com;valve530.steamcontent.com;valve548.steamcontent.com;valve539.steamcontent.com;valve519.steamcontent.com;valve555.steamcontent.com;valve504.steamcontent.com;valve529.steamcontent.com;valve558.steamcontent.com;valve500.steamcontent.com;valve561.steamcontent.com;valve532.steamcontent.com;valve540.steamcontent.com;valve502.steamcontent.com;valve544.steamcontent.com;valve528.steamcontent.com;valve556.steamcontent.com;valve520.steamcontent.com;valve542.steamcontent.com;valve538.steamcontent.com;valve551.steamcontent.com;valve521.steamcontent.com;valve564.steamcontent.com;valve516.steamcontent.com;valve535.steamcontent.com;valve541.steamcontent.com;valve533.steamcontent.com;valve536.steamcontent.com;valve557.steamcontent.com;valve559.steamcontent.com;valve537.steamcontent.com;valve508.steamcontent.com;valve525.steamcontent.com;valve565.steamcontent.com;valve566.steamcontent.com;valve514.steamcontent.com;valve545.steamcontent.com;valve517.steamcontent.com;valve547.steamcontent.com;valve549.steamcontent.com;valve503.steamcontent.com;valve515.steamcontent.com;valve506.steamcontent.com;valve562.steamcontent.com;valve526.steamcontent.com;valve543.steamcontent.com;valve522.steamcontent.com;valve518.steamcontent.com;valve509.steamcontent.com;valve550.steamcontent.com;valve552.steamcontent.com;valve505.steamcontent.com;valve553.steamcontent.com;valve512.steamcontent.com;valve546.steamcontent.com;valve554.steamcontent.com;valve510.steamcontent.com;valve563.steamcontent.com;valve501.steamcontent.com;valve531.steamcontent.com;valve523.steamcontent.com;valve524.steamcontent.com;valve507.steamcontent.com;valve560.steamcontent.com;valve567.steamcontent.com;valve513.steamcontent.com;valve1601.steamcontent.com;valve164.steamcontent.com;valve1615.steamcontent.com;valve1602.steamcontent.com;valve1604.steamcontent.com;valve1608.steamcontent.com;valve1603.steamcontent.com;valve1606.steamcontent.com;valve1609.steamcontent.com;valve1618.steamcontent.com;valve1617.steamcontent.com;valve1613.steamcontent.com;valve1607.steamcontent.com;valve1611.steamcontent.com;valve1614.steamcontent.com;valve1619.steamcontent.com;valve1616.steamcontent.com;valve1612.steamcontent.com;valve1610.steamcontent.com;valve165.steamcontent.com;valve1605.steamcontent.com;valve954.steamcontent.com;valve955.steamcontent.com;valve904.steamcontent.com;valve901.steamcontent.com;valve957.steamcontent.com;valve953.steamcontent.com;valve956.steamcontent.com;valve950.steamcontent.com;valve905.steamcontent.com;valve952.steamcontent.com;valve902.steamcontent.com;valve907.steamcontent.com;valve958.steamcontent.com"

I didn't have a problem downloading from steam. it was the other stuff getting DXVK to work.

how do you get your gog files on Linux? booman
  5. booman
Sorry, I was trying to answer one post at a time... ha ha

I download GOG games right from my library. Just make sure not to download the Galaxy client. All games have downloaders, specially in 2GB .bin format.
I just download them to my desktop into a folder.

    Does that answer your question?

  6. batmanm0b1e
Yes it does. with Linux right. or you use Windows and then transfer them :)
  7. booman
Yes, I'm in Linux at home and just login to my GOG account, go to my library, select a game and download the files.
If its a Windows game, then you need to install it with Wine/PlayOnLinux/Lutris
That is why they provide an .exe file along with .bin files
The .exe file is the installer.

OK i got it working on steam, I will be doing a guide for it. how come you used dxvk0.71 instead of dxvk0.72
  9. booman
    because it wasn't released yet.
I will try 0.72 on Darksiders II
  10. batmanm0b1e
oh ok that's what i had feeling that was it. just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything else. You always want to grab the newest one right?
  11. booman
It just depends on the game or client.
Normally the newest version of anything is better, but sometimes only an older version of Wine will play specific games.
Normally I test with the newest and if it doesn't work, I go to older versions.
  12. batmanm0b1e
How come you don't have the DXVK_HUD on. people won't know its DXVK
  13. booman
The first time I tested DXVK I turned on the HUD, but ever since it proves to work perfectly, I have turned it off for my screenshots.
