I have been playing Elder Scrolls Online with my daughter through SteamPlay with Proton and it runs Amazing!
There are some small stutters here and there, but other than that, its beautiful and runs pretty smooth on my GTX 1060 (3GB) and GTX 950 (2GB)

    Proton 3.16-4 and 3.16-6

I installed ESO through Steam Proton and the retail version within PlayOnLinux. It works out of the box on steam but for the retail version in POL you need to install DXVK and all is good.

Awesome! I didn't get the retail version, but wonder if I should have?
I bought two copies on sale on Steam and my daughter plays too. Steam and Proton handle the game really well. I'm pretty surprised.
