We don't have a Google+ page, as far as I know.
I have been posting pictures and links to our guides on my own Google+ page, but I don't think anyone is finding them.
Should we create a Google+ page?
I'm more than happy to update it with our guides an screenshots.
Do I have to create a new Google account to make a new Google+ page?

Wow! 53 follower and 40 thousand views.
Sorry, just surprised at how fast we are getting attention on Google+

I will have to mention this on reddit every time a "hard-core Linux purist" down votes because of Wine or PlayOnLinux comment.

Yeah, a little bit. Pretty much anyone who posts about Wine or PlayOnLinux will get criticized about it. Cause "Only Linux Native games should be played in Linux"

    Total lack of foresight.

This is correct, some users dont understand this situation (until say its better piracy if dont native, crazy people), many games not be ported for linux (especially old titles) and many AAA titles share same destiny

Help developers make or dont make games on linux (games works on wine) is important because they work are recognized and make more games (natively or not)

    :)

I hope WineHQ, PlayOnLinux.com and our site gains some attention from developers and publishers.
We are proving there is a need for games in Linux. Wine or Native, either way we are going to play our gaming in Linux.
We are even willing to buy them.

Exactly, I am even buying Windows games even though I'll not play them on Windows. Hopefully a few more devs will realize that there is a demand for games on Linux.

Yup, I'm sure that isn't helping us, but as long as the game runs, I'm happy.
Sadly even if Linux gamers don't buy Windows games, its not really hurting the publishers and developers.
But if they make a Linux port and we buy it... that should get their attention.

Yeah, I get both sides of this argument, but ultimately I think the notion that "we should only play linux native games" is short-sited.

I guess I'll have to get a Reddit account so I can go stir things up. 3:)

That's assuming I can stop working long enough to have a life....

Oh wow, I just noticed the  smiley; it looks a lot like me!

Danrok! Did you take one of my selfies and shrink it?

You can try, but I know those hardcore Linux guys... stubborn they are
Which is kinda ironic because Linux is about freedom so you can try new things.
Normally stubborn people won't try new things...
Not really sure how it works for them?

I can understand the whole idea of only supporting native Linux games, and when it comes to new games I kind of stick to native Linux games. Although definitely not always as there are some games I want in any case. But when it comes to older games, I would consider it plain stupid to to be against playing them in wine. Old games are not going to get a native Linux version, and you're just denying yourself the option to play great games.

I am infinitely thankful for wine, and I would not have been able to ditch windows without wine, because I have a lot of great games that I honestly don't think I could live without :p

    ditto ditto ditto

I'm eventually going to start testing programs in Wine to see how well they work. There is a lot of demand for Office in the PlayOnLinux forums, so maybe I'll start there. The only problem is that I won't be able to purchase any of them. Hopefully I can get a copy of a few popular office suites.
I also want to try Photoshop, Illustrator and other adobe products.
I have even seen AutoCAD questions in POL forums as well.
So much to do in Wine ;)
