Intel's motherboard efforts are something of an oddball in the hardware world. The company has seen fit to release them with most new CPU socket launches over the years and with the possible exception of 2008's Skulltrail, most have been quickly forgotten as token items that sit along side far more popular items from the likes of Asus, MSI and Gigabyte.

In the world of art "I'm never going to make another one of these" is a pretty good sales line. In Motherboards... I think they might have done better...":O}
 
Oh man, I watched Skulltrail for a long time waiting for the price to drop. By the time it was affordable the socket 775 was considered obsolete and PCI-Express 1.0 was old and dated.
Man that was such a cool gaming board!
Oh well, never had, never gonna have it, never going to see another one like it.

Look at this BEAST!!!
Dual Sockets, 4 PCI-Express slots...
