Mythbuntu

My co-worker introduced me to Mythtv and replacing his TiVo box. I really like this idea... building my own pc to record television and using Linux is right up-my-alley!

Have any of you worked with Mythtv and the required hardware?
Any tips?

Aedan has done extensive work with setting up Myth, I'd start with him! Search AOA, you should fine a lot of good stuff Aedan posted a while back.

Did he set it up on Linux?
I'll do some searching... I'm not going to try it now, but just wanted to know what he experiences are

Oh...some people interest me more than others...":O}

But I'm sure there's more. Aedan worked at this for a while and I'm sure there is more recent stuff. I seem to remember him setting a Myth up for his new bride so it been in the last few years...PM and ask him! ":O}
