Space Cadet Pinball is the classic game bundled with Windows XP. I remember playing it when I was younger and invested many hours clanking the metal ball around. In Space Cadet you have to complete missions for extra points which usually means hitting targets or successfully aiming the ball into hard-to-reach areas. Its quite rewarding for such a simple game.

    Conclusion:
I couldn't find an offical Space Cadet Pinball download from Microsoft, so I had to download it from other hosting sites. Be careful where you download it from and even scan the download on antivirus websites to be extra sure its safe. Other than that, it ran perfectly. The resolution is super small like 640x480 and it will only play in a window.

If you have an Windows XP disk lying around, you can also extract the Space Cadet pinball files from it.

Enter your Windows XP disk into your DVD ROM
Open it and go to the i386 Directory (it will take a minute to show you all the files)
    Type: pinball
Then select all of the pinball compressed files.
Copy them to a folder on your Desktop

    Next type: sound
Copy all of the sound compressed files
Paste to the same folder on your Desktop

    spacecadet24.png

Open the folder on your desktop
    Select all files
Extract all of them to the same folder

    spacecadet25.png

You can now delete all the compressed files or put them in a folder named: disk
Just in case you need them later

    You will find a pinball.exe
That is the executable to run Space Cadet Pinball.
Double-click and Wine should run it just fine.

or cut-n-paste this whole folder to your newly created virtual drive
Go to Configure and create a new shortcut to pinball.exe
Now you can launch Space Cadet from PlayOnLinux
