Do you know how this website works?

On their FAQ they say, to access a game, "a unique url will be displayed after your purchase - click this to access your game. The unique link will also be sent in an email to the email address you provided during checkout, so make sure you keep that email safe so that you can access your games again whenever you want!"

    Well, what does that mean?

And furthermore, they stated that they are run by Desura, so why is this game not available on that platform?

Just curious about possible future deals, because I had already bought Strike Suit Zero on Steam, although I have not touched it yet.

After you purchase a deal they will send you a link to your unique page with a download link. If you sign up, then all the game you purchase will be on your own private page.
This is how humble bundle works too.
It remembers all of your keys and has a link to download each game.

If you already have a Desura account, then you can login with that account instead of signing up.
This includes your moddb.com or indiedb.com login too.
