Talisman digital edition dont want to install

Hello everyone, i am new in here. I just trying to install talisman by guide on your site. i just stopping on this moment:
"Select Steam.exe and click next. Name the shortcut "Steam-Talisman" then click 'I don't want to make another shortcut' and click next."
I dont have steam to choose. What I doing wrong?

How far are you in the manual installation?
Did you download Steam and install it?

Most of our guides begin with downloading Wine, then setting up PlayOnLinux virtual drive, Wine Configuration and installing Packages. Then Installing Steam and creating the shortcut once its done updating.

Also, did you try Talsman with Linux Steam? You can choose to run Proton (Wine fork) to run Windows games.

i just install now playonlinux i trying to instal by guides and i just delete everything what i got

yes, i got normal steam with proton 3.7 and 4.2
To be homnset i just install wine, i just found some guide for packages for POL but i can find it now. I dont know how to make a shortcuts. I try to run proton but is some error:
error with update application (invalid configuration of application) something like that
how i should start to doing this? I try with manual instalation but i think i dont install packages for POL and i have just errors
 
It sounds like you have several things going on at once.

Proton and Wine are two different things:
  • Proton is Steams version of Wine
  • PlayOnLinux uses Wine to run games

For the most part, you will have to choose one or the other. I suggest using Linux Steam first and enabling Proton, then download Talisman and give it a try.

Looks like mostly gold ratings. So your best chance is to run Linux Steam and try it there with Proton. This way you won't have to mess with manual installation and PlayOnLinux.

I install on steam with proton and i change in beta tab for a "public-open". Game run without any problems but i cant join games and i cant see games, so i think so another think is to set up connections but i dont have a clue.
 
Awesome! So much easier than setting up Wine in PlayOnLinux...
You may have to search online about getting it to connect to servers to play against other people.

There are some platinum test results here, but no mention of problems connecting to games...
