[Tips] On Final Fantasy XIII "could not secure system sufficient memory"

    I don't know if I should keep doing these threads here honestly, if you mods have an idea let me know.

    Alright, so if you run through this error in Final Fantasy XIII "could not secure sufficient system memory when booting the game" first make sure to have directx9 and xact installed.

    If that doesn't work then here's the deal with that error:

    You need to launch winecfg and go to Libraries:

    Change devenum to BUILT-IN THEN NATIVE
    Change dxdiagn to BUILT-IN THEN NATIVE

    The error occurs because for some reason WINE can't load those DLLs for FF13. After that, the game should start working as expected.
