Ironically I will be using two versions of Steam when playing PC Games in Linux.
I will be using Windows Steam with PlayOnLinux (Wine) so I can play my old games and I will be using Linux Steam for newer games as they arrive.

What is the best way to refer to the two Steams?

    Lets keep it simple

I like Win-steam and Lin-Steam....seem to render clarity to the situation... But I'm easy to persuade if something else pleases more.

I think we want our abbreviation to be immediately understandable to the newbie, if it's not we will have to explain each time we use it...no?
Win-steam and Lin-steam I think will be more understandable and therefore more useful.

    Arg!
I was calling them WinSteam and LinSteam... is this ok? Its quicker than adding the dash inbetween.

We could go totally Linuxese and call them:
    winstm
    linstm

Right? Isn't that how Linux naming schemes work?
    How about: LNS
    L - Linux
    N - Native
    S - Steam

    or PYGOLS

    P - Play
    Y - Your
    G - Games
    O - On
    L - Linux
    S - Steam

    PYGOLS

Are those related to seagulls? Or Pythons? Or a Python-Seagull cross-breed?

And don't forget, PYGOLS backwards is SLOGYP!

I really don't care what we use, so long as we are consistent.
