I'm trying to just install some apps in play on linux. When I do install procedures, I get that tiny box. I don't know what to do. I'm not missing libs or anything.

Actually I found a very very very bad bug in the game via wine. If I alt tab to my friends list or whatever to join a game and click the window to get back it will shoot the cameras off in one direction. The mouse isn't at the edge, the camera just goes and I can't stop it. I have to Alt+Tab...
I have to assume you're in ubuntu because thats the only OS I know where the VPN menu's are. Otherwise the rest thats in CLI can be found on the archwiki.
In the network menu in the top bar, there should be something that says network connections. Whether thats in the VPN dropdown or...
I have a bug where I need to go out of the window and back in to get hotkeys to work but when I do that it shoots the camera off in one direction.

Theres 30000 people in the beta and more people bitching that they can't get in. Even quake live is getting players again. Its amazing.
If this could happen with TF2 and the PSP modding scene I would be happy forever.

We're in a weird spot now where old games are coming back. RTS has resurfaced with Brood War getting repopularized, the never ending SNES fanboy games, and then theres Quake. The new Quake Champions is a call back to the true competitive scene of Quake that people may or may not have seen...

Last I was here I had a phenom and a 250X, avid linux user, and bugtesting AMDGPU. I've gone up to a xeon and RX580 since, running AMDGPU, and making snide yet correct comments on how windows now has the hardware support linux had 10 years ago (example: )

Its built into the kernel now. If you don't have AMDGPU, radeon is used instead. AMDGPU is also in the kernel but on a LOT of systems it isn't activated. Its just a placeholder for AMDGPU-PRO to be distributed later on.
The new Radeon driver is top notch. If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend you do. My games are running 1:1 with windows and I've just decided to ditch it for now. Its been pissing me off lately, as usual, and now knowing that everything here works just fin I don't think I'll be...
