I had that problem when I used PoL. Problem lies that if you are playing other Steam games, PoL installs Steam unnecessarily over and over in different bottles. Each game setting may be switching OS from Windows XP to Windows 7.
It's one of the main reasons I wrote this...
If you ever had any need of fixing your music folder with the correct tags (genre, title, album, etc). Do not trust Picard, which is an application which is an open source music tagger provided by MusicBrainz. You are going to regret the moment you use it.
I have aroudn 80-90GB of music, that...
Merry Christmas everyone
I can't wait to see the kernel available on Arch main repos :)

I think what plagues the game is the insane patching time. If there's a big patch of 600-800mb that thing take ages to patch, like 20-30minutes waiting for the screen to go away :(
You can just split out posts and make another thread you know :P
Libre has very poor Office docs support... I remember opening a document with plenty of shapes and smartart... that was a HUGE mess. I ended up just launching the Word I had installed with WINE, problem solved. Beyond that...
Believe me I would use Outlook over Thunderbird honestly... it's just more polished, plus Exchange Server support. After spending time with LibreOffice I still don't get why people think LibreOffice is better, or maybe it's just the fanaticism speaking.
That's just me though. Well that's my...
That really sucks, honestly I've got a bit of a phobia with wireless when it comes to linux mostly because it's still a hit or miss even on 2014. I can really imagine the frustration, like I said before once I get my laptop I'll nuke it with linux and I'm just hoping the wireless card it has is...
CSMT as far as I remember, mind you, it's been a long time and I've moved on from definitions.
CSMT or as we know is Command Stream is a patch that improves WINE's D3D performance, especially on games that are CPU-heavy. However, over time I've noticed that some of the patches Stefan have...
I tried with vanilla 1.7.32 but I couldn't even get the cutscenes working. I have to compile 1.7.33+ to see if they work. However... with CSMT patches even the menus in-game work which is a big plus if you need to restart missions or change something.
In essence you are enabling multilib... which are crucial to run 32bit applications. If you didn't have them installed then you need to check that lib32-alsa-plugins and lib32-libpulse is installed. Without the lib32, applications may start failing. I know it sounds super tricky, but think about...
I don't know if I should keep doing these threads here honestly, if you mods have an idea let me know.
Alright, so if you run through this error in Final Fantasy XIII "could not secure sufficient system memory when booting the game" first make sure to have directx9 and xact installed.
If...
I don't either, haha. A lot of people I know in gaming communities knows more than me. I just like playing games, not knowing about who developed what :)
Still dirty business no matter which wiki is used... feels like AMD drivers are a PITA themselves :/ Remind me not to get involved with AMD cards D:
Most package managers have the ability to hold packages from being upgraded, in this case being the only package (video driver) there shouldn't be...
I would follow Arch Linux's wiki instead than Manjaro (Manjaro is based on Arch after all)
lib32-catalyst-utils - optional, needed for 32-bit OpenGL support on 64-bit systems
lib32-catalyst-libgl - optional, needed for 32-bit OpenGL support on 64-bit systems
lib32-opencl-catalyst - optional...
