Installing extra component (xna40) results with error.

Yeah, I always install XNA30 and it usually works. At least it worked for Magicka. What games are you trying to run? Since XNA is technically "no more" I hope some of those developers will port their game to Unity or UDK

    League of Legends Bug

So are you going to try this with Wine alone?

    Steam Store/Community is extremely slow.

What version of Wine are you using for this new virtual drive? Older versions of Wine may not be compatible with QT5 GUI interface. For just Steam alone, I install corefonts, tahoma and d3dx9. You don't even need d3dx9, but most games do. Don't forget to disable dwrite in Arguments: -no-dwrite

    Steam Store/Community is extremely slow.

No problem There are two options, just use the Linux version of Steam (which may count as Linux purchases) or use their website as you mentioned. Exactly how did you install Steam in PlayOnLinux? Did you add any extra packages? I normally select: corefonts tahoma

    Steam Store/Community is extremely slow.

I have not experienced this problem, but normally I don't browse around, I just go to my library and install a game, then launch it. So you are having slowness with the Steam game browser and other GUI items? What version of Wine are you using?

As far as I know, you don't need a proxy setup, but I'm sure Steam automatically uses a proxy to download games. Before the "splash screen" are you able to select a server? I've seen problems like this before with games like Neverwinter Can you post a debug from PlayOnLinux?

Bioshock Infinite now available on Linux!

Ok, that is strange, but maybe its causing a permissions issue. One thing I noticed when I started using LinSteam, some games refused to launch and I would have to open up the permissions for the executable. But that was over a year ago. Today games and permisisons are just fine. Maybe its related?
