Want to experience Windows 95 in Linux?

Shazam, that is well written, thank you for your contribution! Beginning to feel that I'm a waste of life, this does not feel good at all. My shortcomings fill encyclopedias my accomplishments perhaps a single page or less. I'm possibly discounting the fruits of my struggles, I hope so.

    Items of a passing interest...

Snow is sure beautiful to see falling. But staying on the ground for far longer than it's welcome... Starting next Thursday the weather person says that below freezing nights are finished with. Why that's less than a week more of torture! Unfortunately I don't know if your tacky white stuff will...

Want to experience Windows 95 in Linux?

I guess these differences in age and understanding make life interesting, but how much interest seems to rub salt in the wounds?

    Items of a passing interest...

Traveling holds extremely little fascination in my old age. When I was a kid flying was fun, that was long ago. Don't even want to go to the grocery store, our local groceria has shiny black floors. Who dreamt that up? Makes it as cheery as all get out. How deep is your snow? This chill is...

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Not a microphone to be seen, I guess a lip synced performance was considered normal once upon a time. And for years later too. At least there was a flash of pyrotechnics at the end! I saw Mr Lewis perform this song live at the Seattle Opera House. Perhaps after doing the same song for decades...

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Looking forward to it! I read from two unknown sources that Long May You Run is a tribute to a 1948 Buick hearse that Neil and his band used to get to gigs. Arrgh, and I thought it was about a person or people.

Which ever way the wind blows

Only if we leave it in peace. But Capitalism in its current form DEMANDS the destruction of all nature and this means the destruction of us all. The complete myth that we are the masters of nature is so very ridiculous. Mother Nature has always been large and in charge.

Of race and racism or why did they have to go and make me feel so all alone

I should have been much more clear that I meant equality in income and worldly goods. This won't happen, yet the poor can be lifted through the loss of some of the wealth of the rich and powerful. The disparity twixt poor and rich has never before yawned this wide. Too few have nearly every...

It's a slow day and I feel like writing..

Have you tried a vaporizer? Seem to recall that they are easier on the lungs--or was it that they were much more difficult to detect, because of no smoke between puffs?

Thank you Dan, but I think it's the city life for me. I'd probably be a-skeered of them Elks! And there must be bears too. Oh my!

Of race and racism or why did they have to go and make me feel so all alone

Universal equality is to be desired, imho. We'll never see it, yet we aren't doing enough to achieve it. Just the opposite, and I ask why do we let this continue? Guilty as self charged. Yet I'm not inert in this struggle.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Billy, Bessie, Donald, John---LEGEND? Why---they declared THEMSELVES Legends in their very own time. If that is his family name I have to take it all back.
