Bet that rocket fuel would be quicker, more spectacular and leave less ashes. Cheaper to ship that way. Wait, it's H-P that is the problem? Interviewed there for a job of work, long, long ago. Didn't hear from them. But the outfit that made wiring harnesses for the MX rocket wanted me badly...
Can't remember what video card driver I chose for Mint 17.3, pretty certain that it was one of the nvidia's.
When I chose one of the nvidia drivers on offer for 19.1 my installation became a disaster. With the next install I let 19.1 choose the driver that Mint 19.1 wanted, which was the x-org...
Read yesterday that W10 lies about keeping it's backup cache that remembers changes you've made to the OS updated. It tells you that you just updated---but it's a lie--W10 doesn't REALLY take note of the update. They're trying to keep backup space down, they worry that maybe 100 Mb is too much...

I guess you have to be old enough, some of the kids...
I have to strain to understand some of the words he speaks. Not worth the effort, imho.
Not attempting to disagree with you, maybe I wasn't in the same mood when I saw it?
Thank you for your assistance Dan. I know that Blu-rays don't play on the CD-ROM drive in my PC. DVD's played just fine on this same player when I used Mint 17.3. It's important that I be able to play DVD's on my PC because the sun makes it hard to see my TV on some days. I know, move the tv...
Seems that VLC is the very best choice. If push comes to shove I'll need to install Mint 17.3 again--just so I can play videos.
Would I need another SSD to do this? Or can I partition my SDD to make this retreat to the past possible.
Can you watch DVD's on your Mint 19.1 PC Dan? If so, PLEASE...
