Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Yep, it's a re-post. Have played with other musicians, who all agreed we wished we were as good as the average white band.

Love this one. The Doobies play differently when supporting Michael McDonald.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I made the mistake of buying the eponymous movie. My memory remembered it as far better. Another film purchase error. The song ain't bad.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I like this original one, thank you for posting it. Listening to the Doobies version carefully, it really sounds like Dobie Gray. To me at least. Imho, the Doobie's greatest strength was also it's greatest weakness. Copycats.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I like this old one. But I don't think the Doobie Brothers had anything to do with it. Nothing against the Doobies but Dobie Gray did this song. I think Youtube mislabeled this one.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

This is a classic, no doubt. Wonder if they moved to southern California in the middle of the winter? Ski parkas weren't out of place there and then. Some people claimed that he was the English Bob Dylan. I ever thought so yet he wrote and played many fine songs.

Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

She was an angelic voice. Hate to admit it but I didn't like her for at least the first year of her career. Why? Because she was too real for me to handle. How white boy and white bread can you get?
