Very good point. To bad that I want my opinions to mean something. If judged against other musician's capabilities I come out in maybe last place. I wasn't a very good musician at all. Now that I've admitted that wouldn't it be wonderful if my opinion of my musical self is wrong?
So RISC-V feels dangerous? Does this mean that feeling like a capitalist is OK? Wonder if el-Trumpo feels like one? Heaven forfend I'll become close enough to him to know!
VLC seems to be a bridge beyond attainability. Sure would love some help with this everyone! Being able to watch DVD's on my PC is important because Mr Sun can play meanly when I want to see a DVD on my big tv.
At this point I'm contemplating a Mint 17.3 installation just to watch DVD's with...
I originally DL'd a version 2. something. The version found(but NOT installed. Thanks Mint, thanks VLC) that's built-in to Mint Cinnamon 19.1 is much, much newer, 4. something. I hope I can find the online repository of Linux Mint Q&A's again. Three pages were not enough effort. Many more to read.
It's kinda awesome. When you speak "Mac Rebennack" many folks dunno that he was also Dr John Creaux as well as Malcolm John Rebennack Jr. And I was one of them. Shame on me, who cares what his name really was? He was a fantastic musician who greatly helped the art of music expand and improve.
No it's something in the air. I've figured it out. As the Tdump says NOTHING of ANY value--ever--it's easy for me to hear nothing when he moves his hideous mouth. The only thing that can possibly happen is turds squeezing their way out of that beyond disgusting orifice. Stanks up the joint badly...
Thank you for the suggestion, Banshee installed easily. :( It uninstalled easily as well. Yay! All I want is a program that will play a movie when I put a DVD into the machine.
Why did Mint 17.3 get this so right and New! Improved! 19.1 get this SO wrong?
Ah so! VLC is easy to find in Software...
Yes, and Intel did make a 64-bit system--but not for the masses. AMD was far faster with releasing 64-bit designs that benefited millions and millions. Sorry, I'm not an Intel fan at all these days.
When I was fortunate in the extreme to meet Kaitain many years ago he struck me as a very intelligent person, far smarter than myself. And it is true, he is. The only way this lucky accident came to be was thanks to Daniel~! His party to celebrate the founding of The Alliance of Overclocking...
Naw, just the 390 and xserver xorg nouveau video. The 390 LOOKS so right, and xserver xorg yadda looks like it comes from left field. Very glad I sat back and let Mint 19.1 choose the right (xserver org) one! It made a gigantic improvement of my video experience.
Once upon a time the nvidia...
