I bought the OS for cheap from can't recall online. It's one of those LOVELY blue "home made" DVD-ROM's that don't last worth a hoot. Next time I'll chance it and order it on a thumb drive. I stopped remembering how to burn your own installable disk ages ago. I forget FAR more than I remember...

Especially because Chrome was already installed. Wish I didn't have to jump through hoops to add it to the menu of browsers. I know, the hassle was good for me.

Oh, now I see the problem. Shoulda used a regular sized case maybe? Was a "server" size case really needed? Just being a temporary butt-head, please excuse me!

Trying to install Chrome. Shouldn't this be easy? It's not.

Kinda difficult to get the installation disc to boot. Somehow it booted. The installation went smoothly and I see none of the horrible desktop I saw the last time. So far so good. Thank you for your help booman

After I set the boot order to boot from the DVD player first Mint Cinnamon 19.1 won't boot from the installation disk. Oh well, better try again.
