My Asus Sabertooth Z77 has an on-board GPU that supposedly can work with my Nvidia 670 GTX... but after reading review of those who have tried it I haven't bothered with it. But it doesn't interfere at all with my GPU Card...I just turn it off in BIOS

Very good! So we would gain control... much like 3rd party Nvidia drivers in Windows...only much more so... I can dig it! ":O}

I'm missing something here, mainly why does Linux need open source Nvidia drivers? The drivers I use now are downloaded for me by Mint ( more than a few other destros are doing this as well now) then installed effortlessly by mint 15 then they seem to run perfectly in any game I can get to...

I'd like to clarify. When I say it's a crappy service, What I mean is that there is a crappy selection of games to play... once they have a more robust offering I think Linux users will flock to lin-steam. the future has a thousand paths by which to reach tomorrow.! ":O}

Good point Steve 723! However if the Devs are at all smart they will realize they don't have to support their games in linux,...Just get them close enough to running that POL and the Like can take them across the line. Then You and Boo can do the rest! ":O} As for the workaround...DA Nada...
