    A day I'll remember.

Very well said. I agree that any compromise with the Donald is going too far. To me the man doesn't qualify as human--or certainly at least not a human like me. Being wealthy removes the individual from my personal human race. All that money removes the humanity from its holder.

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

If there is any snake oil in the I-Ching I don't think I'll be smart enough to find it. Or maybe I'm saying that the tranquility of mind needed to accept the manifold wisdoms therein may not be attainable for me. I'm proceeding with the study and I hope my good intentions will win out.

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

Upon re-reading the very beginning(prefaces, introductions) of the I-Ching I discover more and more concepts. And perhaps understand them a little better as well. It's becoming exciting and very humbling too.

    A day I'll remember.

Oh crikey, I am NOT pro-Republican. I don't know who "J. Brown" represents. It would be great if Elizabeth Warren or John Lewis was president right now. However, I don't see saints where they don't exist. Every concept or person labeled as Democratic is not by definition good. Perhaps there is...

    A day I'll remember.

Gosh, it's important to see and acknowledge the great evil done to the little people by the Democratic party as well as the Republicans. I've never leaned Republican but I've slowly learned to see the amazingly evil bahstages that are in charge of the Democratic National Committee. There's no...

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

Haven't come to the point of understanding it enough to know whether I can do it or not. This is very deep stuff--at least for me. It's fascinating, I will persevere with it. I understand(I hope!) a bit more of it upon re-reading the same explanations for the tri-grams again and again. I would...

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

Thank you for your unwavering help with this project, Daniel! Making no progress today, the stomach ache from nearly hell is wrecking my day.

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

The "baby-ist" of steps is required. The difference between the Occidental of "we are here NOW" and the Oriental of "the change taking place NOW" is gigantic. Hopefully I'll have a better grasp of this upon the re- and re- reading of pages l and li. "Deep meaning" is difficult to grasp, even...

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

Kind of simple and very complicated at the same time. Is it important to memorize the tri-grams before entering hexagram territory? A few of the tri-grams seem to be exact opposites of their counterparts. As in second son and second daughter. Those two might be easy to remember. I think I'm...

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

The initial preface speaks of total unknowns to the beginner but shows great respect to Misters Wilhelm and Baynes. Carl Jung's forward is extremely helpful, yet it speaks to me of how difficult this project will be. He wrote it the year I was born, this is a beacon of helpfulness. I will...

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

What a post, you really are something else Daniel! The book is within reach and doesn't hide beneath anything today. If you can, why not take a day off from bothering with me? You "bother" extremely well, I just don't want you to burn out trying to push the bothersome me in the right direction...

On acquiring your first copy of the I-Ching

Oh yeah, "Charlie Brown" was one of the greats. Didn't know it was released in 1959, I doubt I heard it before the Sixties began. "The mighty XERB." It was a Mexican AM station right below the border and it's antenna was tuned to send everything north. It's nice that "American Graffiti" paid...
