I installed a mess of KDE stuff from "software", but don't really see a difference other than some new apps. Do you have to select KDE when you first install or what ?? Do I need a different download version of the Fedora software??

You know I just have got to like destros or I wouldn't be doing this...that said... nothing I've seen anywhere can touch Mint 15 and Mint Debain (they are nearly identical as far as their interfaces go) for user convenience and logical, intuitive setups. It's very close but I prefer Debain...

Thanks... I also noticed that Fedora does have it as Home/daniel Just as home also this line was there when I opened .bachrc "# User specific aliases and functions" Don't know it it's needed? I keep trying! ":O}

Here's what I've done and done many times now I must say. But it's not working in Fedora my first time with Fedora. This was the first time .bash was already there.

I guess I can see the need to protect the user...but maybe they could be a bit nicer about it....even let the players decide who really needs a warning shot across the bow?
