Not yet... I'm not sure if its the patch version, network settings or the OS that wouldn't let me connect. The listen server didn't even show up on my list in Linux or in Windows. Its not super high on my To-Do list, but I can easily revisit multi-player again.

because the open source community can develop the drivers instead of waiting on Nvidia. Once we have full access to Nvidia's driver code, then we can have more development, optimization, testing for all distro's much sooner than waiting on Proprietary drivers to be developed and tested...

Its possible for the majority of consumers. Booting to Linux on your TV when you want to play games.... downloading the game and launching with Wine right there on the screen... interesting ideas! As for me, I'll keep buying PC components to get the best gaming experience and performance...
